UPSC Civil Services Examination Latest notification: UPSC Online:
The full form of UPSC is Union Public Service Commission.
On May 13th, 2021, UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) has published the latest notification regarding Civil Service Exam (IAS/IPS and other civil service exams 2021). UPSC reschedule the exam date due to the COVID-19 that was to be held on the upcoming month of 27 June, But after noticing the COVID-19 situation, UPSC decided to reschedule the exam and now it will be held on 10th October 2021 (For Civil Service Exam). The new exam date might change again depending on the Covid-19 Situation.

Syllabus for UPSC Preliminary And Mains Exam:
UPSC Preliminary: Preliminary is a compulsory exam for all candidates, there is no choice for subject selection. In this phase, UPSC checks the Candidate's IQ, General Knowledge and English proficiency, and problem-solving skills. 33% marks are mandatory for clearing the Preliminary exam then will be eligible for the UPSC Mains exam. Preliminary exam divided into two papers both papers are 200 marks each and the time duration is 2 hours each.
UPSC Mains: UPSC Mains Exam is a more lengthy and focusable paper. There is a total of seven-phase or exam levels. Paper-1 to Paper-5 are the compulsory subject, there is no further choice. This particular exam checks the ability how the candidates to handle the critical task and check the brain capability of how much the deep knowledge candidate has in the particular domain. Apart from this, the paper (6th and 7th) has the choice to select the specific subject where the candidate has good knowledge. Optional subjects (Paper 6th and 7th) help to score the highest score and secure the selection in Civil Services.
After Clearing the Preliminary and Mains exam, candidates will go to the next phase that is the interview process that is the last phase of the UPSC Civil Service Exam.
